Qatar Press Center Condemns the Bombing of the Radio and Television Building in Tehran

The Qatar Press Center strongly condemns the Israeli missile strike on the headquarters of the Iranian Radio and Television Corporation in Tehran, which caused a disruption in live broadcasting and resulted in the killing and injury of several staff members. This attack constitutes a blatant violation of all international laws and norms.

The Center affirms that the targeting of the Radio and Television building in Tehran is part of a clear Israeli policy that has been evident since the assault on Gaza on October 7, 2023. This policy includes bombing media buildings, news agency offices, newspapers, and the assassination of journalists by striking their work locations, residences, and even medical treatment sites. The recent attack on the Iranian Radio and Television building is a continuation of this brutality, aiming to suppress the truth, prevent the documentation and broadcast of images and videos of the aftermath of aggression, and to impose the Israeli narrative on the world.
