Qatar Press Center Mourns the Passing of Journalist Abdulrahman Dahim

The Qatar Press Center mourns the passing of esteemed journalist Abdulrahman Youssef Dahim Al-Darwish Fakhro, who passed away after a distinguished career in sports journalism.
The late journalist was known for his professionalism, purposeful writings, and vision that enriched sports media, making him one of the pioneers of sports journalism in Qatar and the region.
He was among the founding generation of sports journalism in Qatar and one of the first to establish a school of constructive criticism, dedicating his efforts to reporting the truth with integrity. His unique style in presentation and analysis made him a reference for generations entering the field, serving as both mentor and role model—a free voice unwavering in his professional principles.
He held numerous journalistic positions, including Head of the Sports Section at Al-Sharq newspaper, where he achieved many successes and left a significant impact on sports media.
May God have mercy on him, grant him Paradise, and give patience and comfort to his family and loved ones.
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.
